Using a series of custom-made aligners created and designed specifically for you by our doctors, Aligners begin to transform your smile from the day we begin your treatment. In addition to being nearly invisible, there are fewer dietary restrictions than with braces . Because the aligners are removable, you can eat what you enjoy, when you choose to do so. Maintaining excellent oral hygiene is a breeze during orthodontic treatment with aligners. Brush and floss with ease, as there are no wires or brackets to work around. Since the aligners are so comfortable, it’s easy to wear them for the recommended 20 to 22 hours a day. Your appointments with Classic City Orthodontics may be conveniently scheduled every 8 -12 weeks, and you will be given a few sets of aligners at each visit to wear consecutively.
As with any orthodontic treatment, your individual treatment time with aligners may vary. We will give you an estimate of treatment time and the total investment before you start. We are capable of developing customized plans that can even use aligners on one arch of your teeth and braces on the other arch. In some cases, hybrid plans are required to fully correct the issues. Hybrid plans usually require braces for a short period of time in order to address issues that aligners might not be able to address. These patients often convert from braces to aligners to complete their treatment. Of course, this and any other option will be discussed with you at your first appointment!
